Federation chocolate has been making hand made chocolate products since the late 1980's. Starting off by selling chocolate at the iconic Salamanca market and then door to door. The Federation chocolate factory was opened to the public in 2004.
Now owned by Maurice and Helen Curtis since 2014, who have a love and passion not just for the decadent chocolate but also for their local area and Tasmania as a whole. Federation chocolate is a family business and a boutique manufacture of Chocolate products. The factory is located just a few minutes drive before you reach the Port Arthur historic site at Taranna on the Tasman Peninsula.
